How to get to Trondheim

By air

Trondheim Airport Værnes is located 32 km north-east of the city. Below are some of the airlines with flights to Trondheim:

From the airport to the city centre there are several options:

• Bus: Flybussen (stops close to the Rica Hotels, the city centre and at Studentersamfundet (close to NTNU))
  
• Bus: Værnes-Ekspressen (stops close to the Rica Hotels, the city centre and at Gløshaugen Syd (close to NTNU))
• Train (To the Rica hotels: stop Trondheim S, to NTNU: stop Lerkendal)
  
• Taxi

The two buses have departures adjusted to flight arrivals and both arrive at the city centre.
